zAlert (tm) — Operational Alert Manager for z/VM and Linux for system z

zAlert provides a full funciton alert capability adding to zVPS for operational support. zAlert can alert on any performance metric provided by zVPS for z/VM, Linux, VSE, network, and applications such as Oracle or Websphere.

zAlert is designed to integrate into any enterprise management console, using snmp traps to send out alerts. zAlert is easily implemented and tailored to meet the installation requirements.
