User Network Data Analysis

Specifics - Network user data rate analysis:

Most network information can be gleaned from the System Problem network constraint flow. It is however interesting to see the data rates for Guest LANs. These can be compared by reviewing the ESANIC and ESATCP4 screens/reports.

ESANIC/ESATCP4 - Shows guest LAN / virtual switch activity. ESANIC uses CP monitor data. ESATCP4 uses SNMP data. Both the screen and report samples:

  • ESANIC-Userid ESATCP4-Node/Group - Match up names from each screen/report.
  • ESANIC-Rcvd ESATCP4-Total Octets Input - These numbers should be very close (ESATCP4 will be slightly ahead).
